3rd brake light not working

Anybody know how to change the bulb for the 3rd brake light? I'm talking about that brake light above the trunk that you can see in the window.

I took it there. They said it's not under warranty. I guess next time I get an oil change I'll get it fixed.

Wow, I'm surprised that's not covered under warranty. Did they give a reason why? Wear and tear item perhaps?Aren't they LED's, BTW?

In either case, have you checked out the 3rd brake removal thread. It might be useful for the pic content.

Wow that's really surprising considering its only a year old... and its LED...

A normal halogen bulb not being under warranty I can understand. An LED brake light however, should be under warranty.

That's to remove the whole housing. This most likely is all he needs to do.
