My Hot Lava FRS - "Deathstroke"
1 Attachment(s)
Hi all! I've perused these forums since I bought my FRS in late April 2014 and I've finally decided to join.
My current build is a 2013 automatic Scion FRS in hot lava. I absolutely love this car so far and look forward to being apart of this community! Current Modifications: - "Premium" Window Tint - Spoiler - 2014 BeSpoke stereo - Interior arm rest by Zeta - Nitrogen Filled Tires (if you want to call that mod) - Invidia N1 catback titanium tipped exhaust - White LED License Plate Light - Custom Center Console Plaque - Shark Fin Antenna - Carbon Fiber mirror covers (pictures coming soon) - Polyurethane rear splitters (pictures coming soon) - Polyurethane side skirts (pictures coming soon) - Polyurethane front lip (received, not installed yet) Possible Future Modifications: - LED Lights for interior - Cold air intake - stuff I haven't thought of yet Unfortunately I don't have many nice pictures of my car other than my profile pic and signature, but I'll be sure to keep this thread with pictures of any photo shoots or new mods I add! |

Incase anyone was wondering what the arm rest looked like, here's a picture. I really appreciate having it, definitely worth the money.
I just wish an arm rest came stock :/ |

I lost my first stem valve cap this week :( I'll swing by the dealer soon to get more, hopefully they have some.
Attachment 80337 I also ordered an Invidia N1 catback exhaust with titanium tips, it came in last night but to my disappointment the box had a notable hole/tear in it. (UPS delivered it) Attachment 80338 I plan to check for any missing pieces when I get home this afternoon, and if all is well then I will install it either tonight or sometime this weekend. |
Love the name. Now you got to make sure to live up to it.

Thankfully all pieces were still in the box, so I removed the stock exhaust and installed the N1 catback.
I used floor jacks to get the car up, then placed car stands beneath the car to keep it up safely. The entire process took roughly 1.5 - 2 hours to complete. The exhaust sounds absolutely amazing, I recommend it to all who are looking into getting a custom exhaust. Attachment 80433 Attachment 80434 Any videos I have seen of this exhaust don't do it justice, one day I may attempt to film it stationary and a drive-by buuut idk :/ |
Looking good, Looks like you live in my neighborhood, i see your car everyday on my way home.

Since my last update I really haven't done much with my car, but I have added white LED lights for the license plate and a customized center console plaque.
Here's some cheesy pictures to fill in till my next update. Attachment 84748 Attachment 84749 |

Ideally, I'd like a smooth roof. However, the roof is where the radio antenna is located for this car. So I've changed the look of my roof quite dramatically.
I removed the "carbon fiber" vinyl wrap and replaced the stock antenna with a shark fin antenna. The wrap scratched easily and I'd rather have real carbon fiber than some fake wallpaper thing. I went with a shark fin antenna due to the fact that the stock antenna gave the car a RC look IMO. Attachment 87073 I bought the antenna from F-T on these forums. |
Great ride, can't wait to see what you'll do to it ;)

I would've liked to go, but I didn't have them time... I'm looking forward to pictures and videos from those who did go!
Also, here are some pictures from a recent "shoot" Attachment 87640 Attachment 87641 Attachment 87642 So my schedule starts to become extremely busy starting this week so time with my car will decrease. However, I still plan to add carbon fiber mirror covers, front lip and side skirts to the car before the end of this year. After that I'll most likely do some little things like white LED interior lights, but I'll mostly be waiting out my 1-year warranty. Once the car is no longer under warranty I plan to begin some performance upgrades! |
I love that color.
Any plans to lower the car? |

My reason for waiting is mainly, as a student I'm not willing to invest a lot of my money into a new set of shoes... |
