Scan Gauge 2 - do I need a special version?

Mainly interested in oil temp.
If boost is somehow possible, that would be nice too.
I saw someone had "code" to use it as a "wideband".

Does any scan gauge 2 do this, or is there a specific Subaru version?

Awesome! :)

So, about that boost. Is there a way to do Map - baro = boost with these?

In the settings you can choose map or boost, I like it for iat, oil and coolant temps, its a bit slow for boost.

Why not use ultra guage? I think it looks better and is much easier to read.

I'd say mainly because I just ordered a SG2. lol
