Hamza @ Get Detailed - My Review

Kicking myself since day one pretty much for buying into the damn rustproofing/paint protection from the dealer when I got my car. It was pretty obvious there was nothing on the paintwork, so instead of giving them another $125 for 'reapplication' this year, I got the Opticoat Pro and clear bra from Hamza at GetDetailed.ca. ( I may hit krown for rustproofing but seeing as the car sees no winter I may not bother)

Anyways, contacted Hamza Mid April, communications were great, he was never slow to respond to any of my texts or emails. I live in Oshawa, his shop is Yonge and Steeles area, one of the biggest issues I had was just getting the car there. In the end he offered to give me a ride at no charge, so I took him up on the offer. Dropped the car off Saturday morning, and then I took the GO Bus to pick it up the next day. If there was a downside I would say its, that I arrived thinking the car would be ready and it wasn't, I had to hang around for over an hour while it was finished. He's a busy guy, doing all the prep, polishing and OC work himself, he subs out the clear bra work. He has TV and cable and I didn't need to be anywhere so I hung out.
Can't say enough about how good the polishing and OC turned out. The car had 23,000kms when it went in, I wish I had the extra cash when I took delivery of the car... The clear bra guys however, didn't quite live up to expectations. The clear bra on the headlights didn't cover the lights and the hood did not cover the leading edge.
I was eager to get going, so I took the car home and then took my time going over it. I brought up my concerns with Hamza, and he offered to make things right and he delivered. A different product was used on the headlights (Lamin-x I think) which covered the whole light, and looks cool to boot, And the hood was redone at no charge this time with the leading edge covered.
I got a good deal on the price, and Hamza did the wheels, and glass with OC too at no charge. I'd take my winter beater to him if I thought OC would make much of a difference on a 5 yr old white car.. but meh i'm not gonna spend the money. Here's some after shots:
