FR-S no cost cargo mat

The trunk mat on the FR-S slips out so easy, and makes a great template for a do-it-yourself cargo mat. I had some thin, black carpet laying around that I used for a trunk liner in another car, traced the trunk mat on the back and cut out my free cargo mat.......

Good idea might have to do this myself might get some fabric paint and spray FR-S on it.

This brings me to my next question. What does the actual FR-S mat look like?

Not worth the price IMO. just making 1 seems like a better option.

It looks like a waste of $100. The DIY approach prevails!!

Nice job man!

My mat was "included" in the price as one of those factory options. Along with Wheel locks and the rear bumper applique. Oddly I had to buy my own mud guards which seems to be more important than the other things. Oooh a new post idea...mud guards.

Nice mod. I might have some extra trunk carpet lying around to try the same thing. Hopefully, I have a large enough piece to do it.

Thanks for the writeup and idea!
