I was fortunate to be able to attend a meet surrounding the newest Rauh Welt Porsche build, and Nakai-San was to finish putting the car together as the meet was going on. It was a very cool experience and a once in a lifetime event.

After fighting through rush hour traffic, I finally arrived around 6:30, the meet was going strong. I was excited because I'd be able to hang out with two of my car idols at the same time, one of them being the infamous Magnus Walker.

Shortly after I arrived, Nakai-San took a break from putting together the Porsche, and Magnus Walker showed him around his car. It was incredibly cool seeing two Porsche legends enjoying each other's presence.

I went into the shop to check out the progress. I was very impressed with the fit and finish of the kit and the car.

Nakai-San will do some work, then take a few steps back and observe the car. He was constantly tweaking little things here and there to get it just perfect.

Went and got dinner, and when we came back, it was like a scene out of The Fast and the Furious, but too dark to take pics. It was especially great because it was a very warm summer night, and being surrounded by so many incredible cars and car enthusiasts, it was a night I will never forget.

Saw these pictures on Vortex earlier. Some really nice stuff there.

All those Skylines though. Glad to see some sneak into the states

im about 99% sure that second to last picture is not an audi, but a MKI Rabbit with a sweet front end change to accommodate the audi badge.

Not completely positive but it looks like a rabbit to me.

It's an Audi 50! [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audi_50"]Audi 50 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame] I actually wasn't sure either, so I had to do a little bit of research. The only reason why I knew it was an actual Audi is I posted these pics on The Car Lounge (a vwvortex subforum) and nobody corrected me (which they surely would have if I was wrong) :lol:

Interesting. I came from the VW world and didn't recognize that as an audi.
