The Best Brake Pad Upgrade?

Hey guys my brake pads are nearly done. Should I buy stocks again or should I upgrade to something else? Hawks, StopTech, ProjectMu...

Do you track your car? No
Canyon Runs? Yes!
Spirited Driving? Oh yes!
Are you ok with squeaky/noisy brakes? Not yet

How serious are your canyon runs? :D

Thanks for the links but I am now more confused. Everyone recommends different pads. I didn't even know so many pads existed.

I don't go to serious. Btw the advice you gave on weight transition on the stock suspension is fantastic. If I go with the flow of turns the car feels like it's on rails.

Don't fight the car. I suggest something like a Winmax W2 and some RBF600 or PMU G-Four brake fluid.

Absolutely " Don't fight the car" is the key!. How do ST coilover compares to stock?

I'll PM you. :)

I'm gonna slightly disagree and recommend Winmax W1. W2 might make a tiny bit of noise. Not a lot. Unless you cook em canyoning :)

I've got a thread running on the EBC Yellowstuff pads. So far, they are an excellent upgrade. Brake feel/stopping power is much better without being at all grabby, no noise, and little to no dust.

Do you have anything else? (stainless steel lines, brake fluid)

I'll second the Ferodo DS2500 pads. I have 15 k miles on them and they have been great. Stopping is very consistent if spirited driving or a short trip to the store
