Quest for the 86
 

Hi Everyone,

So this is it. I have made a youtube channel 'Help Me Buy A Toyota 86' http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaCRhXhn-ufzCHD-6N3Mwiw

The purpose of this channel is to help me fund a purchase of a Toyota 86.

Can you please keep watching the videos I put up, like my videos, subscribe and watch ads. Doing all this will help me out a lot. Also please share this around the forums and everywhere else.

Once I have enough spare money and buy my 86 I will start a detailed journal as to what I do it.

Get a job dude.

First off, let me start this off by saying:

You need to get a job and save your money for a few years before you think about buying a car like this. Start with something a bit cheaper (i.e. a civic or golf) and learn about cars a bit more first.

Secondly, you aren't going to earn more than a few bucks trying to use youtube to monetize. People who make a living off of youtube have MILLIONS of subscribers and BILLIONS of views, as well as people who donate generously. They have spent YEARS building their viewerbase, and frankly, their content is more than just a generic song with some pictures and floating text from Windows Movie Maker.

This project is doomed from the start, sorry.

Need to offer the viewer a bit more.

Wait, so if I want something nice, all I have to do is ask for funding?

Guys, I want a home theater. It'll only cost about $4K, because I can do most of the work myself. That's much cheaper than OP's GT-86, so it's a much better investment.

It's a really good concept and I'm sure that there are people that will help you out. But what will you be offering us or the viewers? My friend in Japan has a youtube channel and lives off of it. He reviews everyday items and foods. He also does stupid challenges like drinking a mix of energy drinks or riding a grandma bike from Tokyo to Osaka. Plan it out and I think you'll have a chance.

Damn quick, he closed his YouTube account, but haha dude. It's not that easy. Plus you have to be accepted by adsense. Also if you think YouTube is gonna fund your car. Your seriously mistaken. The amount I get on YouTube could only buy 2 tanks of gas.
