I was #2 on the preorder/deposit list, just got a call from my salesmen saying may30th they are getting in 2 ... a white (preorded) and a random ass silver one that nobody ordered ... AWESOME! good to know putting a deposit and preorder down doesn't mean a damn thing ...

i called SOA this morning and also received an ETA of june 11th. i'm #2 at my dealer in MN.

I still have no idea when my car is coming, I just know it's in the first shipment. Subaru of New England is pretty quiet about any details.

I got june 18th in northwest indiana

Got my VIN on Friday, expected arrival May 31.

Not just inbound... I have mine already :)

Just got an update, my 6/11 ETA has been moved out to 6/18. One more week added...just got to hang in there!

Every time I see a post of yours I think we have similar taste in cars... I have a 1989 Carrera 3.2 and a Golf TDi DSG. I am selling the latter for the BRZ.

My 6MT Limited SSM just flipped from wait list to an ETA of "June," further details to follow this week I guess. I am #2 at my dealer with an allocation of 16 or so.

I am in the Chicago area so my ETA may end up pretty similar to yours.

Did they actually contact you about this, or did you just happen to call? SOA keeps telling me my dealer will contact me.

Who'd you order from?

I've always wanted to try a TDI. My GTI is so torquey that I just about drive it like a diesel. Hardly ever get over 3500 rpm in day to day driving. Even then it just squirts down the road.

My '89 Carrera is a result of a life long desire to have a Porsche. Really wanted a torsion bar car and got lucky 5 years ago when I found my '89 with only 13,000 miles!

Looking forward to the BRZ. Should be a hoot to drive. I'm blessed with lots of curvy two lane roads in my neck of the woods.

I was just thinking today that unless I'm heavy with the right foot, my TDi doesn't go above about 2500 to 3000 rpm. I did get 40mpg on my last tank, mixed city/hwy heavy traffic commuting.

FWIW, I ordered the BRZ from Joe at Grand Subaru in Bensenville, IL, and, yes, he contacted me. I was calling or emailing him weekly in March and April, but he promised he would check the computer daily. I never called SOA, and he has given me many updates by phone or email. Even when other cars posted ETAs.

No ETA for me just yet, still just "June." At least it's not wait listed.

Mine has 105,000 but you wouldn't know it, it's an 8/10 outside and a 9/10 inside. The previous owners took good care. Are you on Rennlist? Best 911 forum community IMO.
