Hi everyone,

Following the success of our May 10th meet, we're looking to setup a reoccurring time as summer comes into full swing.

There's been a few suggestions for a location more central (for both Scarborough and 'sauga residents) so we thought we'd try the Go For Tea lot at Hwy7 & Leslie - ample parking, lit, and food!

For now, please use voting buttons for availability. Saturday evening seemed to have worked quite well so let's start with those.

If there's interest, I will contact some of our local vendors and see if we can some to show up and perhaps do a freebie raffle (again, if everyone agrees - I know some people will have issue with commercial presence so want to keep it a good environment for everyone - also no guarantees that any vendor will bite on my request haha).

Aim is to have a reoccurring bi-weekly meet - to be adjusted if necessary. Please reach out to @ToyoburuBRZ or myself if you have any suggestions for the event!

Can you change the poll type to checkboxes so we can pick multiple dates? I don't want to limit myself to just one. :)

I will if I can, haha does anyone know if we can manually edit polls? I can't seem to do that ..trying to correct the dates to Saturday as well - PM'd mods in the mean time to see if they can lend a hand...

How often do we want these meets to occur? I wouldn't mind either a bi-weekly or monthly schedule.

We could hold the event the 1st saturday of every month or just continue with a bi-weekly meet starting the 24th

I think we should aim for bi-weekly and make the most of the summer :) If we find that attendance is dwindling, we can revert back to monthly.

I'm down for any dates. Maybe host it a little bit earlier this time like 6-7?? Take advantage of the sun

wouldn't sundays work out better?

saturdays are sort of get out of the house to party until you're hugging the toilet kinda days

earlier is also nicer....although days will get longer in the summer so it won't matter as much

may 24 is the track day at mosport

I wouldn't be opposed to Sundays either but if we do earlier during the day, still plenty of opportunity to head out for the night. My preference would also be to start earlier, perhaps 5 ish even. There are a few food options nearby for a quick bite.

Sundays wouldn't work too well for those who have work on Mondays, especially those who don't live in the Markham area.

Bump - I think May 24 might be out of contention at this point, we need to pickup a bit more interest in general.

You're right, this thread isn't exactly buzzing with interest so maybe just do more meets. People will show up when they can and with some luck we'll get some momentum.

I didn't even vote for the 24th but I'd gladly show up.

I can't attend the 7th.
