Japanese Headers

Anyone know any aftermarket Japanese manufacturers making headers for this car?

I know Trust/Greddy and HKS do but are there others?

I don't want American built, better for me to just get Japanese.

(Cheaper for me, and more strict on pollution similar to here)

T1R and Buddy Club also JDM headers.

Anyway, have a look at the link below. It has quit an extensive list. Although the first post isn't up to date so you may have to trawl through all the pages to find the jap stuff. There are also some Aussie headers around the place if you go looking. The Neal Bates ones are supposed to be good. And there are xforce ones that are on the cheaper end of the scale.

T1R is Chinese stuff sold by a Canadian company that tries to pass themselves off as 'JDM'.

Since when? I know they have a pic of an entire front exhaust/engine setup for their titanium front pipe but the over pipe and header haven't been listed yet (and it's been some time since the front pipe's release).

Wow, wasn't aware of that! Thread looks like out just came out and I wasn't even close enough to go to Autocon so that's why it slipped by. :iono:

Thanks for the share! Good to know now. I'm sure they'll sell like hot cakes. Too bad I can't get a refund for my OFH. lol I'd much prefer an EL style header.

[QUOTE=Turdinator;1730634]If you look at the laws it is actually illegal to replace the Cat with a non factory Cat so any catted header is still technically illegal here in Aus.

Exhaust system components (manifolds, mufflers, catalytic converters, etc.) may be modified without specific approval
provided they meet the following conditions:
• Exhaust headers (extractors) may be fitted to any motor vehicle, provided:
– they do not foul any part of the steering, suspension, brake or fuel systems
– all fittings for emission control equipment (E.G.R. valve, oxygen sensor, pipes and so on) are incorporated to
ensure the vehicle maintains compliance with Australian Design Rules (ADRs) for vehicle emissions
– exhaust systems continue to comply with relevant legislation or ADRs for vehicle noise
– they bear the correct markings as specified by the ADRs (e.g. trademark or name of the component
manufacturer).
