Sidemarker LEDs flickering

Has experience flickering sidemarker LEDs? I've gone through more than four sets of LEDs already. They start off brand new with 100% functionally and slowly over time begins to flicker or not work at all. I'm beginning to think that the road vibrations gradually make the connector pins loose and unable to complete the circuit properly. Am I wrong? What's going on here?

You probably have water entering the housing. Stock or aftermarket?

OEM genuine side markers. also no signs of water entry or condensation.

On this note...if you do have water entering it and it fries your LED bulb..whats the best way to clean it to get all that black sh*t outta there

I had this when I used the LEDs that came with the helix side markers that I have (and its not because there is any water in there - mine have been leak free).

I found that the LEDs were just very cheap and after time all the connections internal to the LED were deteriorating.

I have since gone back to the stock lights in mine but if you want to keep LED's I would try some quality ones from Diode Dynamics

Yeah i think this is just because of the poor quality of the chinese mfg led lights. Same thing happened to me. I've since switched back to stock lighting.
