STI Badge on lip and rear emblem, rice or no rice

So my STI rep CF front lip arrived and thinking about putting the STI metal lip emblem on it, as well as the trunk/rear STI badge.

I don't have any STI performance factory parts on the car, but turbo charged. Will that be justification enough to put STI emblems on the car?

Rice or No Rice..?

I do have STI valve stems/license plate from the dealer though!

STI badge is last thing that would go on my car after all the STI goodies are on - lip kit, suspension parts, wheels, interior bling, etc.

The badge needs to have something to back it up.

But I'm coming from the BMW crowd where using an ///M badge on a non-M car is a no-no.

More rice than a Sushi restaurant.

Unless your car is all tS'd out, no to the rear badge.

I personally wouldn't do it…

Your inner teenager is surfacing again. lol! It's up to you, but so far @Turbo95eg6 has more Sti than you do. :)

In that case, why bother installing anything that's STi related at all. After all, its not and never will be an STi correct ?
As far as I'm concerned, it's just a ricey to throw STi parts on a non STi car as it is to install badges. I have both, so I guess my BRZ is riced out...

I would say throw the badge on the lip, since that is an STi part, but not on the car itself.

I would look at it like throwing SPT or TRD parts, run the proper badges on the proper parts, but nothing more.

but are those LEGIT STI lips or REPS? if REPS then no

BRZPDX 05-10-2014 03:20 PM

those are CF reps that cost about the same as STI. Only reason I got them was to match the rest of the CF, didn't want ABS plastic like the genuine one is.

I think I will put a metal STI lip badge, and skip the rest of the STI stuff. Taking off the Perrin sticker on the side as well. I will keep the NW86 sticker on, and that will be the only sticker on the car.

Thank you for your input guys.
