Grand Theft Auto games, ultra-violent, but still no kids involved?

It seems strange to me that GTA games show some of the most violent and morally reprehensible behavior, and yet child-killing is still the one last taboo that it hasn't crossed.

I would strongly disagree with you - GTA games are not as bad as many sources make them out to be. However, even if they are, child-killing is a whole new level of morally wrong.

Would be happy to debate, sans childish name calling and insults

Lol at gta being the most violent.
If it had children it'd probably be rated AO. Retailers don't carry AO games. AO games don't sell well. Take Two and Rockstar do want to make money you know.

You could massacre children in Ultima 6. No one freaked out about it. There was a dungeon where a respawning encounter was a room full of hostile children. They put it in as a moral challenge of sorts. Use sleep spells, walls, run away, or explode/hack the hell out of them. Weren't tough super kids either, one hit kills.

Also you could kill the entire NPC population in that game (except Lord British), including lots of kids.

But the Avatar's choices were supposed to be a big deal, and the player was tested with freedom.

Graphics probably made the difference between burn Origin at the stake or the 'meh' it actually received.

Would never fly in a modern Skyrim or GTA graphics-level sandbox game.

Also, it's okay to kill kids if they're evil.

Pretty sure Mortal Kombat still holds the throne for most violence, please correct me if I am wrong. Dont recall any kid killing in any of them though.

In one of the Silent Hill games you have to kill a weird big baby monster if that counts at all lol.

Skyrim has children in it and it also has a vast modding community. Some modders found a way to make children, shall we say, non-essential. Needless to say the Elder Scroll series has some twisted people in it.

I've played GTA IV and seen GTA V. I'd say compared to Oblivion and Skyrim, it's kid stuff. The Dark Brotherhood quests are always fairly gruesome. But then I found Namira's Rot in Skyrim... That quest... was something else.

Why does it matter? The OP kind of says "Oh it's (killing kids in games) not a big deal" so why did this thread even start? Are you some sort of sick idiot that wants kids in GTA so you can kill them?

The other games have mutant children/demons blah blah blah. My little brother plays Dead Space and there are weird alien-infested infants in that game. They're all monsters, though. All of the other examples are of monsters.

We should focus on why the OP wants (but tries to seem indifferent) normal children roaming the streets of San Andreas. I'm sorry to barge in like this but I guess I'm, oh I don't know, offended that someone would start such a stupid thread when we have psychopaths going to schools and murdering kids because their life just isn't right.

This is the internet, yes...but I've seen some other disturbing posts from other weird kids on this forum. Some don't even drive the car(s) this forum is geared towards.

EDIT: Looking through the off-topic posts I've read more from you and it doesn't seem like you're a teenager...are you? Regardless, you appear intelligent so why start a thread like this?
