Where is there a good Tuner on Long Island?
 

To all my Long Island guys ! Where is there a good tuner that can tune our cars? Been searching the forums but don't seem to find anyone.

Please chime in it would be a great help, I am going to install the headers instead of selling and need to get it tuned along with a front pipe, up pipe and catback to eliminate CEL.

Vinny Ten and Performance Auto Solutions are both shops that people know and go to. I know Steve (head tuner) from Vinny Ten and Adam (manager) from PAS. Both good guys. I have not met the head tuner at PAS (Dave IIRC?). This is sort of a sensitive topic on which you go to since there seems to be some beef between people who get tuned at PAS and people who get tuned at VT. All I can say is do your research, talk to both shops, and decide for yourself.

I personally went to EFI Logics in CT for two tunes which is as reputable as it gets. They did a great job both times. Mike, the tuner, is a great dude who is really chill. Jack, the head mechanic, is a great source of knowledge if you want to get into tracking and also a stand up guy.

IIRC, RT tuning is booked up until June. James is awesome though, reached out to me when I posted stuff on a facebook page. If I had my BRZ in East PA more often, RT tuning would be my one stop shop.
