need help from Japan...
 

Hi everyone, I need help from any of you who could help me, I live in eastern Canada and my sister has a Toyota Trueno AE101 imported from japan, the thing is, replacement parts are really hard to find around here since we never got any 2 doors ae101 chassis sold around here from dealers

my sister has a broken front windshield and it has to be replaced as soon as possible but no one can get us the windshield around here, does anyone have any contacts who could get me the windshield even if we have to wait for it to come from japan on a boat, I don't really care, all I know is I do really need a windshield

Did you confirm it's 100% a different part # than any other Corolla?

when I bought the car for my sister 4 years ago I asked a windshield replacement specialist to take a look in his books to see if this model/shape of windshield can be found in north america and the answer was: "no"... I will call a warehouse I know next week before importing one from japan...

Sometimes even the 'specislists' will just say 'no' rather than 'I don't know' especially with JDM cars. You ask them about the parts for a JDM car they say they don't have it. You bring them a part # and they have it. I had some issues with a JDM Mk3 Supra. Some of the engine accessories are a mix of mk 3 parts and SC300 parts. They were clueless until I brought the #s.

I'd be shocked if it was different shape from other Corollas of that generation.
