Need advice lowering my car just a bit...

Let me explain my situation first... i live in Brazil and Argentina (go back and forth). Roads here are plain terrible... like terrible terrible... and speedbumps are usually big as a freaking mountain, also driveway exits are not friendly towars low cars... Love my GT86, but the wheel gap is a turn down sometimes. I do travel a lot, and track the car a bit too...

What do you guys recommend?... i want to drop it just a bit... but im afraid this will compromise my ride and the ability to travel safety and with no problems.

Is it worth it? or just leave it as it is?

(Just to compare... i had a 2011 Mustang GT on Eibach pro-kit... ride was decent, but i could HARDLY go thru speedbumps...)

Thanks!

If you have a limited budget and you were having trouble with a ProKit setup on a previous car, I would leave it stock. If budget is not a concern, FortuneAuto makes an Air cup system that gives you an inch or two of lift when you need it over speedbumps and driveways while allowing you to be a bit lower on the street. They say these cup systems have minimal impact and you retain the performance of a standard coilover setup. Maybe that would work for you? :iono:

mmmm thats quite expensive... so i would say no =(

The mustang seems to have a longer wheel base (?)... so maybe that was something against it on the eibach pro kit... never tested anything on the GT86, and since my car is the only one in Brazil (for the moment)... i cant compare to anyone ... =(

Did you measure the clearance on your Mustang with the ProKit? If so, you can compare that to the stock clearance and what different lowering springs would give you. That should give you a good idea of whether or not a drop is feasible.

Raise it up, add some Sparco wheels and call it a rally car :P
