New Owner, 2014 Monogram Ultramarine FR-S Dallas

First post here. Just got my 2014 Monogram Ultramarine FR-S in Dallas, Texas. I had to order it and when I picked it up, it only had 8 miles on it. This is my first sports car. Moving from a Honda Accord. I found this forum a couple of months back and been reading it and you all provided so much information. This place helped me to decided on what car to buy. I love my car already and happy to finally join the FR-S club.

Here are some photos of my car.

I also have a video of the walk around and inside my car and then driving around Lake Highlands and White Rock Lake in Dallas.

The only two changes I plan on makeing are fog lights and shark antenna.

Welcome! Nice sneaky way to get the downtown skyline in your shots as well. You should check out the Southwest regional threads in these forums. All the DFW members, including myself, get together quite often. Congrats and look forward to meeting you in the future!

Thanks man! That was taken on top of Dallas Love Field Terminal. I was trying to find a place with good view of Downtown Dallas. I look forward to meeting you all at one of those.

Welcome fellow Monogram owner!

You might want to replace the yellow side markers with factory clear markers. I tried the cheap aftermarket ones, but developed a leak in the left immediately. I ended up with a factory Subaru set, and no more problems.

Thanks! I will look into that. Hadn't thought of that.

I thought this color was discontinued.

Glad to see another ultramarine Monogram owner, welcome aboard!

Good advice for most car colors but I actually like how the yellow side markers look on my ultramarine. :party0030:

Not sure what the 2015 model year will bring but as you can see it is an option for 2014.

looks great, congrats bro.

The stick spoiler looks really good on the ultramarine compared to the hot lava. I agree with the person above who said to get the clear corners.

Thanks for the link. I'm not going to put a front plate on it. The dealership didn't put it on left it in the trunk. I live in the City of Dallas and one of the best things of living in the city is the cops are too busy to enforce traffic laws. My other car never had one and most people I know don't have them and Dallas Police could care less. I stay out the burbs thou. I like the floor mats the FR-S came with.
