Safe place to get a lil loose in Portland

Is there somewhere one can safely go into VSC sport mode and try their hand at drifting anywhere in the Portland area? Besides autox or PIR events.

I don't want to get into or cause trouble, but there has to be a safe place to go cut some cookies and not attract undesirable attention.

I'm originally from Coos Bay, and the go fast folks would occasionally go hit a strip out in the dunes area and test their 1/4 mile prowess. Plenty of straight, one way in and out for easy monitoring, open it up and see what it's got. I hit 120 in the 1/4 in my old 68 Chevelle. Didn't know how fast that was at the time.

If there was a place we probably shouldn't post it on the interwebs ;)

I go to the NW industrial area's on a Sunday when everything is closed. I've never seen security guards around.

Take Naito Parkway all the way up through the Pearl District. Its just a 5 min drive for me and convenient, I'm sure there are better spots out there.

I used to go to the Conway parking lot on Sunday's but they put damn fences up now!!
