Rear diffuser/splitter.

I put both names in the title since I seen it called both. I'm looking for one like the driveway labs v2, but are they the only people to make one? 600 is honestly out of my price range for it.

For a genuine diffuser, I think they're one of few. Borla makes one, but honestly the DWLabs v2 looks better. Most "diffusers" are usually just little trim pieces that look like diffusers, not actual diffusers.

Are you tracking your car?

No plans to track. The borla only works with their exhaust, as it hangs from the exhaust and not the car. Mainly just want it to finish the look of the car. I guess I'll be sticking to the "oe style" ugly one lol.

If you don't need a functional diffuser, most of the companies that do body kits will have some sort of rear treatment for the car.

I just went with the cheaper OEM style one haha. No point in spending $400 more for something that nobody will notice is any different.

Who mods their car for other people to notice?

eh, with the DWL you would see the "fins" under the car. mainly why I wanted it. gives the rear of the car a more aggressive look. but ill just buy the knock off OE one for 60 bucks. thanks for the replies

You have a point. There's just a lot of things I'd rather spend my money on, maybe that'd be something for later on once everything else is done.

I see it more as, "what's the point of spending $XXX on a part that is barely even noticeable".

This diffuser actually works so I do not get the "barely noticeable"

The diffuser is well priced also.

I was talking from an aesthetic POV.

600 may be well priced to some. but...my pockets don't quite run that deep.if it was 300...I would pick it up in a heart beat. 600 is just too much for me to spend. whether its functional or not. 600 is a header, or an oft, or numerous other things that would provide a major gain.

Why would you buy a functional diffuser for the looks... there are plenty of cheap no functional stuff out there.

gramicci101 05-05-2014 10:10 PM

The sad thing is that a lot of rear lip kits are just as expensive, if not more so. At least the DWLabs stuff actually provides an aerodynamic benefit.
