By that logic you would have gotten 2 out of 4 lotto numbers ;)

I have had all 4 without needing to be balanced with weights before.

damn!! out of the dozens of sets of wheels ive owned in my life, ive only had one single wheel that didnt need weights. LOL

i'm assuming they were road force balanced?

if not, go play the lotto for sure

That's what usually happens when you combine quality wheels with quality tires!

connorlug 05-05-2014 11:40 PM

theyre michelins so as long as he lined up the yellow dot with the sensor, should be perfect lol

i've had this happen on maybe 10 wheels... mostly with michelin tires but sometimes yokohama.

This is actually kind of common for motorcycle wheels and tires.

I race motorcycles in AMA and I go through about six sets of tires a weekend. Every single set that I have ever ridden on has needed weights and I have ridden three different brands. Dunlop, Pirelli, and Bridgestone.

The rear tire from my last set of Bridgestone R10's that I used on my track bike had no weights.

And my front on my street bike, Dunlop Q2, has no weights.

From my experience, it happens about 10-20% of the time.

It amazes me how many tire installers don't know what tire manufacturers red and yellow markings mean. A lot of wheels out there with excess weights on them that are unnecessary due to improper installation.
