Just got mine today :D I'm waiting for the rest of my sti lip kit to come in before I put it on.
Did you just use the 3M tape or did you also screw it in? and why no STI sticker?

yeah i messed up on the first sticker so i had to order another one online. currently its on.. as for the installation i didnt screw it in.. didnt want to drill holes into my trunk.. so what i did was just cut the "screws" down and 3m'ed in place so that it looks complete. Ill post a pic of what it looks like if you want.

ahh, thats really clever with the screws :thanks: yeah I wouldn't mind a picture when you get a chance! I'm a little disappointed that the "real" sti flap doesn't have the STI logo implanted in it like the sti skirts but I think the part flap in general looks great. Did you use a heat gun to straighten out the gurney flap? mine is really crooked from being shipped wounded up

actually i didnt do that i just let it sit in the sun for a little and then when i started to mount it, i did it little by little and eventually it took the correct form.. i was scared to peel off all the tape and try mounting it correctly with one try lol. yeah when i get a chance ill throw a pic up.

I finally put it on last night. Looks really good and really changes the look of the rear… I just had a friend heat gun it while I stuck it in place then I used what you did for the screws. Thanks again for the idea about cutting the screws
