3.9 inches TALLER? 8.4 inches ride height? Talk about ruining handling. Way too tall.

It'd be okay to raise ride height by an inch to 2 inches, but almost 4? Ewwwwww

On phone I am. Therefore, if mistakes I make, Frank Oz blame you should.

Taller doesn't necessarily mean the whole 3.9in will be added in ride height. I would think atleast some of that would be increasing the height of the passenger compartment.

LOL! I came in here to say the same thing. Never gonna happen. This about what the car was designed for and adding any of those options will take away from it…even the turbo (price point).

Vides990 05-04-2014 03:50 PM

The article doesnt even mention a turbo 86, just the drop top, and sedan which would be turbo, and turbo hybrid.

Looks like their source is from the one in the post below:

So repost, and most likely false made up rumors.

It would be cool if they rebadged an upscale FRS sedan as a Toyota (Cressida) in the US.

If any of these wild speculations happens, it will be tragic.
A 4-door 86? that's sadder than a tiger in a wheelchair.

If they just keep this great car as it is; well balanced and fun, keep the production line going
for a few more years and don't change anything but the cosmetics that seem so terrible important
over there in America, now THAT would be COOL.

I think what is happening is suburu isn't interested in developing the platform more but Toyota is. I just hope the turbo will be backwards compatible

leapoffaith_initial-d_frs 05-04-2014 08:51 PM

I wonder if they have more than 2 na engine options after this
