My father always says "get the 'El Cheapo' one" whenever deciding what to buy.

I think I now have an obsessive-compulsive aversion to any cheap tool or car part now.
I absolutely refuse to buy the cheapest of anything...

Ah, that's a good one.

We all know of high quality products that are priced low, and low quality products that are priced too high and overrated.

"You only live once." To me, this is philosophically accurate but it's used entirely wrong. Logically, if you believe that you only live once, then you should not be doing that stupid thing you're about to do as you're yelling out "YOLO!"

I have countless stories where this quote holds water. I'd like to hear your disagreement.

You guys are misunderstanding this saying. It's an admonition said to someone who stepped in it because they believed things would be better if they changed something important in their life. Think of it more accurately as "the grass always looks greener on the other side."

i can't seem to find it anymore, but there was a really good video about that a while back.. 'shows people looking twice before crossing the street' #yolo, 'buckling the seatbelt before driving off' #yolo, etc...
