Initial D Final Stage - Starts May 16th

Second episode, lowdef RAW is up, link at the end of the thread or go to the IDForums and grab it there.

First episode RAW is up. Remember these are untranslated/no subtitles. The Fan Subs should follow in a few more days. Thread below goes to the IDForums page where the links to the first two RAWs will be found.

Animax has confirmed that Final Stage will be available on its subscription-based VOD (Video On Demand) service starting May 16th, 2014. It will continue where Fifth Stage left off. Consist of a total of four episodes, Final Stage will be focusing on the long-awaited final 86 vs 86 battle between Takumi and Shinji.

Usually the fan groups will rip the episode which goes up in a few days and then a few days after that, the Fan groups Subtitles will come out. The episode will usually stay up for a few days before the IP lawers get it taken down. I will try to post these as they release for those of us who cannot wait a year or more for these to get officially released in the US.

that's good news!!! I like initial D....

5th stage was really weird compared to the rest of the series. I don't know why things needed to start becoming supernatural. Is that how the manga went? And still no clear concept of what Project D was supposed to be. I guess most people just assume to prep for professional racing but some closure on it would be nice.

Perhaps these are questions final stage will answer. Either way I feel like after Takumi joined Project D the series became predictable. There is no way they will let him lose! First and Second stage are still the most intense and my favorite.

I'm so busy, I'll forget and miss this, and I really REALLY want to watch the final stage!

from what my brother shows me from the manga and what I heard I am kind of disappointed but I am still going to watch it

Nice! ..and I thought we were just going to be getting one or the other. Happy to hear we are going to get another Stage; as well as an additional movie trilogy in the future. Sounds like a lot!

I wonder if the new twin/gt86 will ever be featured/included in the Final Stage series or the future movie trilogy? hehehe..maybe Takumi needs a new car ;)

Does the drama get any better?

edit: I like this show. The action is the shit but the drama takes itself too seriously for what it is.
