You can always buy my supercharger! Best gain for your buck.

EpidemicFRS 05-07-2014 07:12 PM

I'm just thinking of doing the headers for now but there are a lot of things that I would like to do.
Just for shits and giggles, how much is your supercharger kit?

Touge_ninja 05-07-2014 07:39 PM

I wouldn't bother with the innovate kit. Lots of other kits out there that provides better gains and best bang for your buck

It's actually called by thermal expansion, which leads to thermal runaway, and thus mechanical failure.

The majority of LED failures are attributed to heat FWIW (Probably 90%)

I'll take your word for it ;)

I just read that if i tune my car than I void my warranty? Is this true?!?

Churnobyl 05-09-2014 12:31 PM

Basically everything voids your warranty as it relates to the modded component. Meaning if you change to an 18 for stock wheels and warp your brakes the dealer will not replace them free if they know. ditto for an exhaust issue if you change exhausts, and definitely anything relating to drivetrain and engine. You have to decide if the warranty matters to you.

Well I ordered the jdl UEL headers thinking it was in stock since that's what the website said. Found out there sold out and expected wait time is 3 weeks. Yay

let the man void his warranty in peace......

EpidemicFRS 05-14-2014 08:20 PM

Seems like most people don't really care about voiding their warranty?

Touge_ninja 05-14-2014 08:36 PM

I'm turbo and I still got the TSB replacement pump

EpidemicFRS 05-14-2014 09:20 PM

How did that happen? Lol

stockysnail 05-14-2014 11:37 PM

Odds of something going wrong to an unmodded car are very unlikely during the first 3 years. Odds are better at getting in a car accident.
