Not sure if any of you are down, but I am going to be moving to Las Vegas in a couple months and I wanted to do one last cruise before I hele on. I got my boys of Team Hyundai down for a cruise and I am going to get a few more crews together. Anyways, it would be cool to roll with you folks one last time too. Keep me posted in this thread and I will do the same.

Not sure Bro? I am heading to Vegas for the first two weeks of June in order to follow up with job leads. So, depending on how it goes up there and how it pans out with an active duty position I am trying to apply for here...that's when I will have a general idea of my timeline. Either way, I will keep this thread posted.

lols, well at least we know for sure we're moving. The position would require me to take an administrative rank reduction since I do not currently hold the MOS as a SSG...the thing is, I am up for my SFC, so technically, I'd be taking two steps back. With that being the decision, I decided to move on to bigger and better things. I'm just gonna move on and make a living in the states for a little bit. Haha at least now I know the direction we are moving in.

Haha it's all good. In a nutshell, I basically decided to forefit my chances of a possible active duty position in the Hawaii Army National Guard, rather than take a rank reduction. I am currently a Staff Sergeant that is up for promotion to my Sergeant First class...lols hope that helps some? Haha useless info for the day

The Guard has always been cryptic to me. It seems to be more like the civilian structure than anything else. Most of the E-5's and 6's I see are GS-13 making the equivalent of an Lt Col. Then in a lot of the repair shops you see 55+ year olds with SSgt stripes still.

Maybe it's just for HIANG, and different for the Army though.

There is a Lupus Awarness Cruise on the 25th of this month. It sounds more like a meet, but definitely something we could turn into a cruise if you're here and want to do it then. I'll definitely be going out to that.

Do you have anymore information in that? Time? Location? Etc?? LMK shoots!

Looks like we're meeting at central oahu regional park at around 9am. Thinking of meeting someplace else and driving down. I'll figure it out next week and let you know.
