Started life as an Australian GT spec Toyota 86.

For you Americans this means: frs headlights, fog lights, smaller brakes, 16" rims, basic stereo, all black trim, cotton seats but most importantly lightweight

So its an FRS...lol I LOVE those stock wheels! Dont know what they were thinking with the FR-S and the GT86 wheel...should have made these but 17s

vince86 05-01-2014 08:33 PM

Yeh I actually prefer them. I think they look watanabe-ish plus they perform better imo

It's not even an FRS. Black faced gauges and no digital speedometer either. As base as base can get, outside of Japan.

Fett4Real 05-01-2014 09:04 PM

He has exhuast tips...we dont get...so there are trade offs...he gets toyota badges and the 86 airbag hes winning here

Yeh this is the base model in Australia. There is about a 4 or 5 grand price difference between this and the GTS which is more like the frs except with "jdm" lights. Not worth it imo especially if you plan on modifying it.

To give "thanks"?
Probably you need more posts before you are allowed to do this.
They might want to make sure that people are not able to create new accounts and give "Thanks" to themselves.:iono:

Now, you might want to give me two "thanks", hah.:happyanim:

Not completely happy with the way the taillights turned out but also not bad for a $14 can of VHT compared to $425 for Toms which i will probably end up buying.

Good thing it won't be the same as mine, since you are in Perth as well.

Yeh bro sorry about that. I know it sounds like a cop out but i've wanted them ever since the first renders come out of the rb v1 and as soon as I realized that brz headlights had indicators I put two and two together and set out to make it happen. When I found out the cost of BRZ headlights it set me back and it took me a little while to figure out how to actually source them.

What do you think should our mutual friend remain nameless? I reckon he would get a lot of business out of them ;)

Yours will always be more baller because dem oem brz headlights

You have modify the bumper so it fits, then Allen key button head bolt and nuts.

Top-Secret 05-26-2015 11:14 PM

Here's a random all I'll be it 'stupid sounding question'
Your tow strap, what kind of bolt did you need to bolt it up in the rear
I just ordered some cheapo straps off eBay and when I started looking into it
Everyone seems to be dumb founded on how to mount it in the rear
One guy used his stock tow hook to hook it up
Now to justify my stupid question I don't currently have access to my car or the straps to figure this out on my own

TylerLieberman 05-26-2015 11:27 PM

Saw the title "sexy style" and thought I was going to see something along the lines of this..
