Great dela on Dashcam

NewEgg has the OjoCam Pro Mini 0801 Dash Camera with GPS & G-Sensor + 16GB Samsung MircoSD Card for $86.00. Regular price is $180.00. I ordered one since it had really good reviews. I hope it works with Dashware to do cool spirited drive/track cam videos.

Dang, out of stock.

Here's the one with 32GB memory card... why can't they still use 16GB and keep it as the same price? :iono:

I've already got a dashcam (ITB-100HD, in case anyone's curious), but have been casually looking for software like Dashware to match up video to telemetry from Torque. Thanks for the solution!

That's a wonderful dela...

This is a good deal, not a great deal. Amazon currently lists the [ame="http://www.amazon.com/E-PRANCE-Original-Ambarella-Recorder-Resolution/dp/B00F2GMUPU/"]camera with GPS module[/ame] and no memory card for $100.

A 16GB microSD card costs approximately nothing. I bought a pair of Samsung 32GB class 6 cards for ~$25. In my limited testing, I saw no difference in video quality between class 4, 6, and 10 cards. I was surprised - I expected the class 4 to be a problem.

I have this camera and I like it. Now that the rain has stopped, I can get it properly mounted in my car.

FYI this is probably because the Ojocam 803 is coming out next week.

edit: Actually, looks like it's already out? http://www.foxoffer.com/mini-0803-am...l#.U2KjRvldXkV

I used RaceRender. It came out great.

(but I used RaceChrono, not Torque for data)

.

I read that this camera has issues with Class 10 cards, so Class 6 is recommended by the manufacturer. Did you see any problems with the Class 10 cards with the OjoCam Pro Mini 0801?

It is a pre-order from a wholesaler distributer. 803 Cam has great specs. I wonder what retail is given the wholesaler price.

The manual does say that class 10 cards are too fast (which doesn't really make sense) and to use class 6 instead. I've also seen older forum posts where people had serious sounding issues. I don't know if the class 10 problems developed over time, or if they happened immediately. I can only say that I haven't seen any of the card corruption that other people described. If that changes, I'll let you know.
