My friend's FR-S was stolen at his driveway in NY yesterday.
So if anyone see this car, please let him know.
Please call

Have our alarms systems been hacked? Seen a few of these lately now, wondering if they're is a program like the m3's getting stolen in England. I don't see how they can jack these without the keys seeing as there's a immobilizer n everything.

Good luck to your friend op, hope the dirty thief runs himself over

Actually I think my friend has no idea how his car was stolen. He just parked it on his own driveway and might forgot to lock it?

I'm not in NY, so I won't be much help. But I am curious how thieves are bypassing the various immobilizers and whatnot.

Unless the thief just stole the keys from inside the house or your friend left the keys easily accessible, then that would be pretty self-explanatory.

Definitely need more information here.

What part of NY?

I am still waiting for more information from him. I think he totally has no idea.

He is not in this forum so that's why I post this thread instead of him.

My money is on a flatbed trailer, scoop it up strip it and sell the parts for a couple grand, not much you can do to prevent it happening other than parking in such a way that access is limited.

BRZnut 04-29-2014 06:05 PM

was it stolen or Repossessed??

rice_classic 04-29-2014 06:05 PM

<---- starts googling lo-Jack and other tracking options.

To steal it out of someone's actual driveway is quite bold & frankly stupid for a thief to be honest.

I would assume thieves prefer to work in isolated and darker areas/streets.

Most places leave notice.

Do you have any side shots of the car? Can't really tell which wheels it has from these pictures

It's stupid but these subhumans are able to get in and out so fast they know even if they trigger an alarm no apathetic New Yorker is going to bother.

Cretins that mess with other people's property should immediately have their organs harvested as an apology for their lowly behavior.

Ditto for
Animal abusers
Child molesters (actually, feed them to sharks -sharks have to eat too)
Serial killers
Murderers
Terrorists
