Would anyone be interested in an FR-S meet in June? Shooting for LATE June so we have more members with their cars :happy0180:

I'll be planning the meet and greet with Moto and, possibly, Albert.

Im in as well, I will not have one by then however. Also, I have never been to a car meet, how do they work? I want to get more into the 86 and the car scene in general?

Sounds good guys! We'll start some planning.

The meet would be @ Longo Toyota/Scion and open to FR-S and BRZ owners and FT86Club forum members.

Car Meet: Park cars around and meet other people that have the same interests.

I'll see if I can squeeze some money out of the bosses for some food-truck goodness.

I could message a few OC food trucks to be there but it has to be a rather large event.

No promises yet, but should be doable. The car has been through enough publicity events, hahaha. This will be a nice little meet and greet for FR-S and BRZ owners. After all, they are identical twins :D

Nothing on this allocation. Based on position, you should get allocated on the next one (June 1, finalized by June 6, cars arriving start of July to mid-July).

I am in the same boat on the wait. My girlfriend's BRZ is showing up June 1st... My FR-S must be sailing on the fail-boat. :bellyroll:

I think it's safe to say that all of us are still up for this meet. Guess we're all just waiting on our cars! I'll be keeping an eye on this thread.

They're still discussing it. Plus they're aiming for mid/late June so you should be OK.

Only 10 are coming Monday morning. The rest are at the port ready to come in, so should be through the rest of the week. There are a few cars on one late ship that is arriving around the second week of June.

Me too I called the dealer today to pester them about it. Haha cuz all the other dealers I visited this weekend called me back this morning, they all had it in. But the dealer I went with had the best deal. So I'll have to wait.

Hi all, i'm a newbie, and as you can see this is my first post. I've been a lurker of ft86club since mid 2011, and have been following the car since early development.

I test drove the FR-S recently and after getting over the initial excitement and anticipation I loved it. I currently have an Asphalt MT awaiting delivery in mid June and would love to join for the meet up if my car arrives in time!!

For reference and advice I will definitely be taking into account all of the expertise I've read up on so far. Additional input any members may have pertaining to questions i have in the near future will be greatly appreciated. =]

Seriously, i've been itching with anticipation.
I went through DCH Torrance since its closest to me. Although Tustin and South Coast had them available it was a little inconvenient because I have a'98 BMW 540i I need to trade in but its been sitting PNO'd for 6 months. Haha scared it's not gonna make the drive.

Haha! That's awesome. I'm in Ventura County so it's gonna be a little bit of a drive for me, but I don't care in the slightest! I'm gonna trade in my Tundra, and hopefully I'll get some money out of it... BTW, I think I heard somewhere that South Coast is marking up their FR-Ss like nobodys business. Theres a thread on this forum somewhere about it...:search:
