Just a warning....

^ This. I was out $2400 because this company said that it would not be a problem to powder coat my rims. I do not think the shop knew that they were forged aluminum, which, if baked, must be at a lower degree than most other wheels. At the end of the day, 3 out of 4 of my rims would warp after a week of driving (even after I had a wheel shop straighten them). Ended up having to buy some new rims on my own dime.

Yes, some wheels cant take the heat and may bend/warp. However hundreds upon hundreds of people ride around on powdercoated wheels every day and even race on them without dying. You should be fine but couod always ask the powder coater about heat related risks depending on wheel material.

I would only take my wheels to a powder coating shop that specializes in powder coating wheels. I made the mistake to just take it to a powder coating shop that powder coats everything, and therefore, the shop just assumed they could bake my forged aluminum rims just like any other piece that they have powder coated in the past.
