cobb tunning and the 2015wrx to the twins

I am curious if COBB with be making their access port for the twins now that the 2015 wrx comes with a similar engine.

I can almost see it being plausible for them too depending on how different the ECU is from the Twins

My instincts told me not to click on this thread... but of course out of curiosity, I clicked on it anyways. Stupid curiosity...

Even if they can write to the ECU, I still doubt you'll see them invest any time in creating tunes for this platform.

Read on RR forum someeone attempted to pull rom from 2015 WRX ecu complety different, not albe to extract rom. Engine also different ony has di not di/pi.

cobb stated they only do turbos now,

unless your doing an engine transplant , no chance for 86

Cobb does turbo engines. Bigger HP gains possible by stepping up the boost threshold. More marketable.

If you really want to use a Cobb AP, do what I did, buy a WRX or STI as a second vehicle!! Kinda an expensive decision though. If the FR-S wasn't such a sweet car that I wanted to garage it for winters I'd have gone for Full Blown or some other monstrous FI kit and had tons of cash to spare!!
