Armrest in the back seat? seriously?

Took my car in for 25K service and got a first look at the '14. I think they were called mono something. Anyway, asides from the nice new lights, BRZ climate controls and NAV... they put an armrest in the back seat lol. Someone has their head on backwards, we need one in the front console!!

They do have one. It's like 300 dollars.

I think you missed the point, which is, why put an armrest standard in the area where people won't be sitting 95% of the time, but not put one up front where there ARE people sitting, 100% of the time.

That said, I actually haven't missed there being an armrest. Once we start going on longer drives though, my girlfriend might. But that's why we brought two cars home that day. So she can keep all her stuff somewhere that's not my car ;)

They're not the MY 14. They're the limited edition monogram series that comes with everything a top of the line GT86 would come with in other countries, or the BRZ Limited.

Monogram

It's not really an armrest, just a piece of stitched leather that goes over the felt/cloth between the seats. I bought it for my BRZ, cleans up the interior nicely.

I was also thinking of purchasing this, I was looking at getting one from @NigelJDM, however if it is in the monogram I may have to look into getting it from my dealer. It does help to clean up the interior I think, if I could get a reasonable price on one I would be all over it.

Because they know a bunch of people will pay for an overpriced armrest where they do sit. They can make too much money selling them separately.

I'd rather this car be a 2 seater. I wouldn't care about the higher insurance.
