Trunk Damage :(
 

So I was parked in a parking garage and some upstanding citizen managed to back into my car, apparently. Being the kind person they were, they did not leave a note.

Anyhow, I was wondering if anyone has had experience with trunk damage. It's about a baseball sized dent just left of the license plate. I don't know if this is too much of a curved surface to be fixed nicely? Just trying to get a feel for whether or not I'll need to replace the trunk. I know I need to get a couple quotes.

Another note, have people had CBS paint matched? Is it difficult for body shops to make?

Is the paint cracked or chipped? If not, look into PDR. A good PDR guy would be able to take out the dent and make it look like nothing ever happened. No need for a re-spray if you do it that way.

It is scratched, but it might be light enough to be polished out. I'll do some work on it and see if I can't get it all or mostly out. I'll definitely look into PDR, I've heard good things about it on this forum. Thanks for the suggestion.
