Hey guys,
Just wanted to introduce myself and say hi to everyone. I just took delivery of my 2014 BRZ SWP with a 6-speed and I am definitely in love:wub:. Many thanks to Clint at Heuberger Motors for the amazing deal and the awesome no hassle experience.
I've owned a bunch of sports cars in the past (79 911SC (still have), 944 turbo, Eclipse GSX, LS1 Camaro, 05 Mini Cooper S) and I can't wait to see how this compares. Early impressions are that the car feels incredibly composed and inspires confidence. I can't comment on much else as I am still in the break-in period, but I really like the feel so far. I've been reading the forums for months and really appreciate all the insight you guys have provided.

Cheers,
Joe

Here's a couple pics of some previous rides. My 86 944 turbo (great car) and my previous DD 97 VW GTi VR6.

Congrats! Nice color choice...

weird, i also had a red 944 turbo, though mine was 1985, and now i have a 2013 BRZ. i think you'll be happy with the BRZ. it is very peppy and fun to drive. i don't really understand all the complaints about horsepower. low horsepower affords you the ability to drive a car hard and yet stay within speed limits. it also improves fuel economy. you can argue that it makes it less fun on a track, but even there people say low HP forces you to take better racing lines. my only gripe is the rear seats. believe it or not, they are even less functional than the 944's.

This car looks so amazing in white.

Congrats - I bought mine from Clint as well for delivery in Texas; worked out great. I used the giftcard he gave me on the brz trunk mat.

Nice, 944's are awesome cars for the money. Unfortunately, for a DD they are just getting a little long in the tooth. I like that you use the term "peppy", that is exactly the feeling I get when driving it. Not because it has overwhelming power, but because it has great throttle response, is light on it's feet, and feels very immediate.
