HKS GT Supercharger -Renewal-
Hello together,
I like to share with you some information about a new HKS Supercharger Kit I have seen yesterday in Yokohama at a HKS-Event. - It looks very professional and also the airbox is the original one. - Power output max 300 HP Please find below some pictures. http://i1148.photobucket.com/albums/...psfcfc27bf.jpg http://i1148.photobucket.com/albums/...psc8961282.jpg http://i1148.photobucket.com/albums/...psfff71786.jpg Iīm sorry I donīt have additional informations. Hope there is comming something in the next days on the web. :burnrubber: Dom |
There is a similar thread on the HKS Supercharger Update, but thanks for showing us pics of it installed. I was curious how it would look.

I like the look of this updated HKS kit. If it comes in cheaper than the original HKS kit even better. Appears to be a centrifugal blower similar to the Rotrex design so it should put out excellent top-end power. Hopefully HKS will provide a "factory-tuned" ECUtek option and a U.S. affiliate can go through the process to get it CARB legal - I think those two points will make it much more marketable (at least to us folks that live in CA). I like its simplicity and its use of the OEM airbox (one of the reasons why I liked the Innovate kit). Changing the air filter will be OEM simple. Another plus going for it is that most aftermarket oil coolers should fit with this kit. Also looks like the intercooler is not so wide that it completely takes up all the space down there so an oil cooler can potential get more air as well. As much as I love and enjoy my Kraftwerks Rotrex kit, I am wondering if this might be a slightly better design.
