Recommended Tire/Wheel Shop GTA
 

Hey everyone

anyone recommend a tire/wheel shop in GTA for dismounting (winter) tires from OEM rims - and replace with summer tires?


Most places charge 80-100bucks

Try Steelcase in Markham, I think they're around $15/tire.

If you plan to keep the car for a while, you should REALLY just buy a second set of wheels. You can get steel wheels for like $50 each, which is the equivalent of swapping the tires 3 times.

You could try simplytire at the keele and finch area near york university. Don't know how much they charge though.

+1 for a second set of rims.. I don't pay to have mine swapped the dealer does it for no charge to swap my winter rims for my summers and vice versa.. Though I usually do my summers myself because I get eager :burnrubber:


That's for my second car, the BRZ sits in a barn in the winter and wears summers full time.

I usually do all my tire stuff with Allen @ SimplyTire... however, like others have said, just get a set of steelies for the winter.

Allen's a great guy. He's a friend of mine from highschool and has always known his car shit.
