Back Up Camera

Anyone install a backup camera that displays on the radio / gps head? On a Canadian 2013 BRZ?

Thanks

Canadian spec comes with a pioneer AFAIK. Pioneer radios have an RCA input on the rear for back-up camera. You can use the same process for mounting and running the camera wires as US spec models, except you will want to tap the camera turn on to the reverse wires at the tail lights and just plug the RCA into the HU.

you'll need the pioneer harness. your reverse camera will have a yellow RCA input, red wire and black wire. yellow RCA will plug into the brown RCA output wire from the pioneer harness. Black wire goes to ground (any screws will do), red wire taps into the 16 pin connector harnesss (orange wire), lastly, to get the reverse signal, you take the purple wire from the main Head unit harness and you splice it with a unused 26 pin connector harness (orange/white) wire, pin slot number 2

here's the harness that you'll need

FYI, you can also bypass your navigation system by unplugging the yellow MUTE wire and moving it up one pin slot then grounding the wire to your head unit screws. This allows you to use your navigation while your car is in drive, also allows you to watch movies anytime :)

Does the stock head unit in the US have the ability to hook up a backup camera so easy? I thought that I had read that it is, but searching does not give me much info.
