finally got my custom set done after about 2 months being rebuild.

Got them really cheap, beat up ...off course. They're originaly came built 2pc welded. I was under the impression that every iforged came 3pc .... :bonk:

long story short , brought the wheels to a local wheel restoration shop, hacked the wheels in half, trashed the lips and barrels and only keep the faces..... bought all new 2" chrome lips, 7.5" inner barrels and the 160 chromed bolts and nuts. Also bought the beautiful billet 42draftdesign 20mm 5x100 to 5x120 wheel adapters to make the +30 offsets.

wheels : the Iforged Retro powdercoated in shiny penny copper
tires : Achilles sports 225/40/18
suspension : Bc Br coilover
camber : -2 Front (top camber only)and -2.5 Rear ( spc lca and toe)

anyway pictures time ...:P

Candy red xxr looked better I think.

Still pretty nice though.

Thanks !

The xxr is more pops due to the vibrant color, but these iforged look more grown up ...IMO :)

im liking the after. def. different and eye catching, better off than with the to popular xxr wheels.

Thanks man ! My xxr is an eye catcher too but these set is something else :)

Went to a local CnC earlier today, got quite a bit of complements from the younger and the older as well .

I may drop the rear alittle more and add another degree of camber soon .

just giving an opinion about the Achilles Atr sport tires .... I must say Im impressed with these tires. not the same class as the Michelin sports for sure, but they're a very good tires for the money. For $75 each, I must say they're the best bang for the buck.

very minimal noise, stretches very good and absorbs bumps on the road very well. In the past week, the weather was cold 40s, hot 80s degrees and rainings, and the tires are up to it.

18x9.5 +40, on coilovers. Any idea what size tire I need to run to make these fit in the Front and Rear?

Vten 04-26-2015 06:58 PM

If I have et40 offsets , I would go with 255/35 all around , some members runs 265 squared on the same specs .

Mine is et25 after the 25mm adapters, that's why I'm running 225/40s.

Oh wow really? I thought alot of people say they barely clear at 235 let alone 255! That's interesting though.
