BeSpoke 2014 Text Messaging not working
 

I always get a "Not Available" prompt when trying to use the Text Message feature on my 2014 BeSpoke head unit. Using an iPhone 4s with iOS7.1.

i have the 2014 bespoke and have never seen a txt option. where are you seeing that?

Try completely removing the phone from the head unit and re-pairing. It should fix it.

lol funny...I tell customers that all day every day, but I fail to think of it when it's my car. I'm a jerk. Gonna try it now.

Let me know if this works, my text messages on my iPhone 5S have never showed up on my headunit, always got the same notice you got

My guy at the dealer said it doesnt work for iphone users. But only for android.

I know for sure mine doesnt work. I have a 4s.

That's annoying.

I don't think the iPhones support the text function. I haven't been able to get mine to work, or any of my customers with iPhones to work. But my friend on his android works fine.

Make sure you have the "Show Notifications" option turned on under the device options in Settings -> Bluetooth. Your iPhone texts wont sync to the headunit, but new ones received while bluetooth is connected will show up. I was wondering about this option too. It is mentioned in the manual too :p

Still nothing. Set iPhone to "Show Notifications" and on the head unit I have it set to "New Message Pop Up: ON". Phone connected. "No entries" in the Messages tab and no pop ups

Yea messages won't sync like it does with other phones but if you receive a text while driving, it will show up. It won't be stored in the HU though. Next time you turn on the car, past messages are gone
