Passenger DRL Bulb Burnout Help
Hey Everyone,
When I got my car, I noticed that the passenger DRL light did not work. The blinker and hazards work fine since it is a dual filament bulb. I went to Autozone and picked up a set of new 7444's and installed one. Everything was working fine. Then just today the same thing happened. The DRL only portion of the bulb blew. You can clearly see a hazing inside the bulb from the failure, but the blinker side of things still works. Can anyone offer suggestions on what to check / how to troubleshoot? If there was a short, wouldn't a fuse blow before the bulb? |
You probably mean the yellow light that lights up when the headlights come on instead of the passenger drl, right?

Ah yea! Wow! I'm an idiot. My apologies. I do mean my turn signal / parking lights.
Any idea what could be going on? I was thing of getting some switchback leds for them but i wanna figure out if it was just coincidence or if there is an electrical issue first. I don't really know where to start to troubleshoot. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk |
