Puddle Light LED help!

So I bought a bunch of LED replacement bulbs from Diode Dynamics (Which are awesome, would recommend)

I'm not sure what I did wrong but, the puddle light in my drivers side door wont shine full brightness on the LED bulbs.

The brightness that shines out from the LED bulbs is very dull and literally only visible at night. It also stays on constantly, whether the door is open or closed. Can someone help? What did I do wrong? How can I fix this?

It also wont light up my old bulbs anymore.

These things tell me you broke your BIU. Go to the dealership and pray they replace it for you under warranty. Otherwise, you're looking at $400 + labor to fix the problem.

For future reference, this car seems to be very finicky about LEDs. Some will blow up the BIU, others won't. It's a game of risk, and you just lost.

My post was number 4. I would recommend taking the LEDs out and taking it to the dealership. Hope this helps!

Thanks, I'm going to replace all back to stock and take it back into the dealership and hope for the best.

Is it just drivers side? Would biu effect all if them?

Yeah, its just my drivers side. By the looks of it, the other thread, his passenger puddle light wasn't working and turned out to be his BIU. Same scenario. It's weird. I've never even heard of a BIU fuse before.

Same thing happened to me Dealership replaced the BIU. This usually happens if you didn't disconect the battery while changing out the lights and when you put in the new led's it shorted out the BIU.
