My car is finally broken in!
The most enjoyable, yet aggravating 1,000 miles I've ever had to endure driving a car. And on the same day, I saw this on my meal receipt:

Congrats! I am at 529 miles, and I can't wait to get to 1,000!
|
Took me six days to break in :) I was too excited to stop driving.

Extra toasted buns. Nice.

Took me about 3 weeks to break over 1000 miles. Guest number 86. Nice.

Congrats on the break in! I think it took me less than two weeks for mine :). It's been a blast ever since
|
yall have broken in your cars fast. I have had the car for a little over a month and im only at 500 miles. Although i dont drive it when it rains, nor did i drive it for the first week or so due to salt on the roads.

Popped that virgin clutch huh.. must of blown your head gasket:lol:
|
Thanks guys. I've wanted this car for a long time, as you can see from my registration date. But I've had it for a month and a half! I've been offering to drive whenever possible, heh.
I loooove driving it. I used to drive with no destination all the time, but back then gas was much cheaper. |
Now start modding and enjoying.

the engine of a car is broken-in within 200 miles, it's actually good for it to do some high rpm/redlines at normal operating temperature to seat the rings and the engine winds up being stronger and more powerful in the long-term. just take it easy on the clutch and differential for the break-in period
