I was searching for the TRD wing in white for the FR-S. Nigel JDM-Parts was selling the original TRD one, already painted white and "In Stock" I was sold! I've grabbed a set of Japan OEM side marker too. April 10th I've bought and make paiment of the package. I've asked if my order was processing right on April 12th. Nigel-jdmparts told me: For Order 233983954 12119W TRD 86 Rear Trunk Spoiler- White is a special item. We need to pre-order them for you. There will be an additional charge for your location for the spoiler, its USD 80. Please let us know if this is ok for you so we can process the pre-order. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any inquiry. So Nigel-JDMParts told me that It's not even in stock, and I've got to pay MORE to have it (I live in Canada) but this was totally not adverted on the website. On 13th April I've ask how long it will took if I've "Pre-order" it. He told me: It will be around 4-6 weeks. On the same day I've asked the refund. No answers Yesterday I've re-asked a refund. Still no answers. So I'm not the only one sadly. I should searched before buying... |

Most companies take 3 business days JUST to process your order, let alone process it, have email correspondence (on a Saturday) and issue a return. Also, I know charging an export fee is the norm and not the exception as I'm sure you do too. Nothing in your post made me feel bad for your situation. Sorry that our website can only show in stock for the item and it cannot shown which color is in stock. If any of the color is in stock, it will display in stock.

Id assume there is two part numbers one for ea color it comes in black and white...and a 3rd for paintless. Your inventory system/website cant handle that?

Damn I wish I had seen this thread before ordering a armrest, it said it was in stock when I ordered but after seeing this and searching I found out most the stuff in stock is not actually in stock. Why have the option for next day or 2-day shipping if your inventory is never updated? From what I have read he has known about this issue of inventory for a while. Yet he refuses to fix it, probably cause you can get more customers saying something is in stock when it really is not. 90 percent of the negative reviews I have seen all stem from false inventory.

i ordered a steering wheel and they told me that it would take 3 - 4 weeks to order it from japan. 6 weeks later i email them to ask about it and they tell me they still don't have it. another 2 weeks later I tried to contact them again, sent multiple emails every day and none of them were replied to. its been 2 months now and they told me they finally have it and were going to ship it out to me in a few days. a week later I emailed them many times asking for shipping information, and have gotten no replies. A very disappointing experience with nigeljdmparts I will never use their website again

It's unfortunate that you guys have had a bad experience with @nigel-jdmparts. I just wanted to share my positive experience with this vendor. I purchased JDM clear side markers and the JDM exhaust tips from him and my order was shipped within the week. There was an issue when the package arrived (an item was missing) and I emailed the vendor right away. I received a response within a few hours with an apology and assurance that the missing item would be shipped out right away, true to his word, I received the item a few days later. No problems here with Nigel and will feel confidant in ordering from him again in the future.
