Problem solved.

If you got your oil from an auto parts store, and they took your phone number, they'll have a record of your purchase. Maybe give that a try?
|
So what you're looking for is someone in the Boston area who has a pair of receipts for the purchase of Mobil 1 0W-20 oil, dated, say, 6 months apart, that were paid for in cash (no credit card number on receipt), who is willing to potentially risk becoming accused of fraud by participating in this scheme? Good luck.
Understand that I'm not accusing you of trying to cheat Scion. I completely believe that you bought and changed out your oil. But in asking someone else to provide you with receipts you don't have, you're asking them to be complicit in doing something illegal. |
That sucks. But unless there was oil all over the place, you were two quarts low as well. Can you modify a leased car? I would imagine that is not helping either.
ETA: This is a damn fine reason to take a new car without much of a maintenance history to the dealer. |
Every lease I have signed or have witnessed included regular maintenance....
