I had my first ever solo event, check out my dashcam footage!

I'm a newb and got pretty slow times, but I've never had so much fun in my life :burnrubber:

Also here's a pic of the car in my garage before I put mudflaps on. Nothing else has changed except some wax

not bad for your first time. try to remember the track a little better when you walk it and you will be able to push harder and get faster

Will do! The very first run, I accidentally went right on the first cone :bonk:
Also I could save a couple seconds if I didn't go crazy on the U-turn, but boy that was fun

I went to my first event yesterday also. wish I had a video :(. just learn the track and have smooth lines on those sharp corners and you will improve fast. I was within 3 seconds on my best lap. good luck

Thanks. Do consider getting a go-pro, or if you're on a budget you can get a cheap low quality dash cam online for only 20$ (don't expect a good video quality). The dash cam I used was about 90$ and shipped from China. It's really nice because it's 1080p and 30fps and has features like motion detection, g-force detection, etc. If you are interested in a dash cam, visit dashcamtalk.com. I am a member there and you can find which cam is best for you

Thanks for the video! Darn good for 90$ footage... mic was better than go pro that's for sure. Nice job! good improvement too.

I just started as well. Sounds like you were having a lot of fun, especially around the big turn in the middle! Going to my next event in a couple weeks, can't wait.
