what you have to change on the Subaru:
- headlight unit
- dash trim
- front bumper cover
- Suspension
- Seats, steering wheel, e-brake, floor mats, all badges
- Nav unit from subaru to toyota
- Still have to add fog lights as BRZ are different from 86 and FR-S doesn't have them.
what you have to change on the Scion:
- change headlight units
- change headlight wiring
- add fog lights
- panels with red stitching
- change seats
changing badges on the Subaru is a moot point since neither car is wearing Toyota badges...
and as far a suspension setup goes is that necessary? if you get TRD shit you'd have to do it to either car.
swapping out a suspension is WAY easier than wiring in new headlights. We're talking some bolts vs a bunch of wires for chrissakes

You're missing a few things on that list there, I added a few, I'm sure I've missed adding a couple things myself yet. Remember, I'm looking at the GT 86 Limited, not the GT 86.
I also beg to differ on suspension vs lights. I've done HID conversions before, I'd rather do those than a suspension any day.

You also need the leveling motors and auto leveling system. By the time you get all the parts you'll have already spent more than the difference between the frs and BRZ limited, and you'll still be missing the nicer interior. I think the best thing for people who want a gt86 would be to buy a BRZ limited, sell your BRZ headlights and buy some gt86 headlights, sell your BRZ bumper and buy an FRS bumper, put Toyota badges on it and call it a day.

I was not aware it was equipped with an auto-leveling system, I'll add that to my list of things to get. Still, not a hard addition considering the car is still made to handle them.
As for the other stuff, I've already mentioned that.
I don't take kindly to you telling me what is best for me. I know what I like and what I want done and you stop short on a few things. That would be what I call a "half-assed conversion" and misses many key things.
In the end, the best thing is for Toyota to release the 86 as they should have, with all options and as a Toyota. Keep the FR-S as the low spec for N.A., I'm ok with that. The fact that people are looking into doing these conversions only strengthens the position that Toyota should have it's version in North America as the high spec. Subaru can still have their BRZ, it has a different style that caters to the Subaru folks. Just give us our Toyota so we can shut up about this already.
