Both of my windows squeal here and there. It's worse when it rains. I'm tinted all around and haven't seen any scratches anywhere.

Mine does the same except it usually only happens in cold/damp weather.

What's really annoying is the stripe the roller leaves in the middle of the window. At this point I'm not brave or desperate enough to open up the door panel and clean it off but it sure does foul up a nice detail job

Me too...must be a feature, like the crickets

spdfreak 04-14-2014 10:44 PM

This drives me nuts. Worse than the crickets IMO.

Just leave the door alone... just carry a microfiber towel in the trunk and wipe it off. That's what I do.

The "official" fix is to lube it.

qqzj 04-16-2014 06:04 PM

Dunno but I've heard that's all they do if you take it in to be fixed. I'm just living with it. Doesn't rain too often where I'm from.

Mine does it first only on driver side last year started in july. Now my passenger side does it too. Sometimes in rain some times dry. I have two scratch marks on my driver side

The official fix is to have all the seals replaced...then it comes back a couple months later. The seals are garbage. /thread
