Hey Guys,

This 2014 Ford Mustang came in for paint correction, light interior and Opti-Coat PRO installation.

Process is as follows:

Pre-Rinse with Karcher HDS 3.5 at 90c to release almost all dripping rust proofing.
Wash with Ultima Waterless Wash +
Clay with 3D Clay Lube and NanoSkin Medium
Compound with HD Adapt and B&S Finishing MF
Polish with Opti-Coat PRO primer polish and Green B&S
Opti-Coat Pro Application

Rinse mats, Steam clean seats and carpets.

Before I got started.

Yummy rust proofing leaking all over the paint, recently heard from another customer that this actually had the ability to lift clear film over years of use. I will have to confirm this though.

The paint needs a safe wash

The old swipe test.

We can see the swirls on the fender, there not too drastic but again this car isn't that old and the owner is meticulous.

After some work.

You can sort of see the colour change here, the right side (trunk lid) is much more darker then the still quarter panel.

That was it for day one but I didn't know the new mustang's had these. Look it looks like the little horsie has diherra.

This was the end result. The only way black should look.

Also did PDR which now available at our shop, please pay attention to the light bend in the reflection.

That's the spot after, can't even tell that it was ever there.

nice work hamza!

any spring specials for the board?

Hamza7 04-16-2014 12:05 AM

For sure, what kind of specials did you guys want to see?
Just Exterior or Exterior/Interior combos ?

Also how many of you want me to discount my Opti-Coat inspection detail. I may have not explained this to everyone but Opti-Coat on a daily driver does require a clay bar detail every 1 year to 18 months. If you can do it yourself then great otherwise I can also through that out. I also inspect and confirm Opti-Coat is working as it should.

Edit: It does not require it but it is recommended. It's just fallout may hinder some of OC's abilities over time because the surface is contaminated with pollution. The amount of contamination varies from car to car depending on how much you drive, where you park and even where you live. If you have any questions, just ask!

If the swirl marks are minimal then I'll put my stage 2 on sale. It includes a full interior and exterior with a light paint correction that removes anywhere from 30-50 percent of defects (depending on how many and how deep into the paint) but being the awesome paint that is FRS/BRZ/GT-86 you're probably looking at the higher side (40-50%) reduction in defects.
